Akon’s original gets remixed for the dancefloor with a more funky and uplifting edge. This version pushes the tempo to 122 BPM and blends Afrobeat rhythm with UK funky house and garage, creating a groove that’s built for movement.
The remix leans into chopped vocal phrasing, layered with Caribbean steel pan textures and bright trumpet lines. It drops into a UK funky bassline that hits clean in club systems while still carrying a warm, summer feel. Tuned to 432 Hz, the overall tone sits slightly deeper and more rounded than standard masters.
